    Pen/Pencil Holders
by Sharon Johnson of KoolAid Purse Store
    http://www.koolaidpursestore.com

    You Will Need:
    - Empty Cans
    - Candy Wrapers
    - Mod Podge or Tacky Glue

You will need candy wrappers. Let's say 2 m7m packs. You need to place the packs around the can to paste in place. This can be mod podge or tacky glue. You place the second pack to the edge of the first one. Continue to paste under the pack around the can. When using modge podge gloss lustre. Paste it out side the packs. You now have a pencil holder. I have used a white fabric to line my cans. For smaller kids this can be skipped. Leave plain or add construction paper. These are great ideas for crafts made from recycled items!

    Muffin Pan Crayons
    Old crayons (bits and pieces)
    Muffin pans
Muffin cup liners or "non-stick" spray

Peel crayons. Line/spray muffin pan. Put crayon pieces in muffin cups. Separate colors for single color chunks, or mix colors for rainbow ones. Bake at 200 degrees until melted. Cool, peel off liners if used. For extra fun, use with handmade paper. This is a great way to recycle those old crayons which would be thrown away, making them wonderful earth day crafts for kids.
